Sunriver Trip

A week ago we went to Ken's mom's house in Sunriver. We stopped off at Sahalie Falls to let the kids run around. This time we took the trail to the top of the falls. 

 When we got to Sunriver there was a family of deer walking through the neighborhood. 

 We took Leo, Little Miss and Huck to Benham Falls to relax. 

 We then took a drive up to the Cascade Lakes. It was very pretty. 

 Ken found a great spot on the opposite side of Elk Lake. The kids had a section of the beach just for themselves to play and run around on. 

Huck likes to follow his brother around and do whatever he is doing. 

 The next day we took the kids to East Lake where this unfortunate toad happened to hop near our kids.

If you know anything about this kiddo you know that these photographs are a miracle. To say that she was afraid of bugs a few years ago is an understatement. At this exact same beach she was screaming her head off if a butterfly landed on her. With a little work we have gotten her over her fear of bugs. 

 On my birthday we were able to take the kids to SHARC. They just opened it, and with Ken's mom being a home owner she had to pay for the park. The good news is that this means she gets a certain amount of free tickets. They had a sledding hill that during the summer time you can use inner tubes on. 

 It was a lot of fun but Huck was disgusted that he couldn't ride on them. He kept trying to steal an inner tube and haul it up the mountain. 

 We decided to head over to the water park so he could have some fun too. 

For my birthday we went to Goodies and I got a turtle sundae. Yummy! There was a tiny train and Huck wanted desperately to ride on it. He was so excited and waved to everyone!
