Our Saturdays are all about soccer now. From our choice of hair accessories to

 cheering on our favorite player.

 This little cutie dressed herself from head to toe. 

 Leo is quite the player. He is on a great team and he enjoys playing. 

He is one of the fastest kid on the team. 

 Even Mimi and Papa got to come down and show their support. 

Luckily the sun came out and we were able to enjoy the game in warmth rather than the cold rain (which is currently falling as I write this post)

 Did you know that there is a back-up coach for the team?

 These two have played together for years. They can read one another's minds and play really well together. They are strategizing right now before their big play. Leo gave him an assist and then he kicked it in for a goal.

April Showers had Better Bring Some May Flowers

We were getting a little bit of cabin fever around our house. So I decided when in Rome. 

We threw on our rain boots, bundled up, and I handed each kid an umbrella and we headed 

out doors. The kids loved it and we stayed out for an hour and a half. My little Huck walked 

an entire mile by himself. We can't seem to wear this kid out. All I have to say is he had better 

be running marathons when he is older.

Easter

 Let the sugar rush begin. Huck has definitely figured this holiday out. 

 It was so hard to get pictures that weren't blurry because they were all moving so fast.

This below picture cracked me up. Huck placed his eggs on the seat and then sat down beside them. He would look over every once in awhile to make sure they were still there and crack open a few every once in awhile to eat some candy. 

 We were able to snag my brother to snap a photo of the family.

 There is a story behind the gloves. I knew I wanted gloves for Little Miss because of the style of her dress. When they arrived in the mail Midge was crushed that she wasn't getting any. I remembered that I had a pair from when I was in High School and I pulled them out of a box for her. She loved them. So here are my stylish girls in their gloves. 

Our little Huck hates having his picture taken. He will say cheese once and you have a few seconds to take his picture. We had already used up his cheese for the day earlier. 

So he wasn't to keen to continue the pictures.

We had to get pictures with our Mimi and Papa. Here are the 2 favorites.

2 Visits to Mimi and Papa's House in 1 Week

At the end of the week of Spring Break we were able to go and visit my parents. My brother was able to take us to campus and show us a project he and a team worked on. 

 We then walked across campus and the kids found these sculptures and loved playing in them.

 We were able to go to lunch at a favorite spot and they allowed the adults to play pool. The little ones were disgusted that they weren't allowed to play and Huck kept coming up and stealing the balls. 

 I was finally able to be in some shots because Midge took all the pictures. 

 We had a great time. We then came back 5 days later and helped them weed their yard. We finally got some nice weather. This spring has been so wet and cold. Huck loved driving the tractor, although whenever Papa started it up he was a little apprehensive about how loud it was.

 The kids worked really hard. I tried to get a picture of Huck just before this shot he had been laying in the sun, looking like he was ready to fall asleep in the sun. 

 Here are my crazy kids the weather couldn't have been 60 degrees 

and yet they had to get out the 

slip n' slide.

 The kids also wanted to make s'mores. We were able to get a big bonfire going.
